OrizzonteCina is a biannual academic journal that aims to promote a deeper understanding of the political system, international relations, and socioeconomic dynamics of the People’s Republic of China and the broader Sinophone world.
Promoted by the Torino World Affairs Institute, the journal is published by Il Mulino ("Politics" section) under the scientific and editorial responsibility of the TOChina Centre of the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society of the University of Torino.
OrizzonteCina combines the analytical tools of the social sciences with the philological sensitivity of sinological area studies. It includes a thematic section, a section containing individual essays, a section devoted to sociolinguistic analysis, columns curated by the Editorial Committee, and a space dedicated to short contributions to public debate.
