The TOChina Hub is an integrated knowledge hub established to engage China not merely as a field of research, but as an indispensable partner in the education of future generations of cosmopolitan citizens and competent
professionals.
The core mission of the TOChina Hub is to promote a holistic understanding of contemporary China’s political-institutional and socio-economic change through area studies-inflected research in the social sciences.
Researchers affiliated to the TOChina Hub pursue rigorous, in-depth research based on international and Chinese sources, intensive fieldwork and surveys with senior local partners. Particular attention is devoted to Italy-China relations, and to China’s evolving role in the Euro-Mediterranean region (南欧西亚北非).

The first year of the double degree is offered in Italian only.
Prospective managers with a China focus who wish to acquire strategic skills in the areas of business internationalization, intercultural management and entrepreneurship can apply for the CMBP - China Management & Business Program, especially developed by a team of China scholars, executive education specialists, and China-based professionals.
Since 2007, the TOChina Summer School has been offering outstanding graduate students, young researchers, and professionals a world-class summer program on politics, foreign policy and political economy of contemporary China.
TOChina Spring Seminars are held in Torino every year from March to May focusing on a variety of topics related to contemporary China and its relations with Italy and the Euro-Mediterranean region.
